Q: How do you join Eximo SpeedLock ducting?

A: All Eximo SpeedLock components are joined using quick and easy to use Lock Rings. The Lock Rings come in a variety of sizes and types to suit the job. Your Eximo representative can assist you with selection of the right Lock Ring type for your job.

Q: What lengths is Eximo SpeedLock ducting available in?

A: It comes in half, one and two metre lengths. Is also available in telescopic sections to fill in any remaining lengths required.

Q: What diameters are available?

A: The Eximo SpeedLock ducting range starts at 80mm diameter and builds through many sizes to 550mm diameter ex stock. Above 550mm diameter a range of sizes are available up to 1000mm joined with Lock Rings and above that size joined with flanges.

Q: What material thickness' are available?

A: 1mm, 2mm and 3mm thickness are standard and we can supply intermediate sized thickness where required. Both the 2mm and 3mm ducting can also be joined with Lock Rings.

Q: What materials does it come in?

A: Our standard ducting product is made from galvanised steel.

Q: Is it available in stainless steel?

A: Yes we also produce the complete range in stainless steel.

Q: What is the surface finish on your ducting?

A: The 1, 2 & 3mm ranges are hot dip galvanised as standard finish. We also manufacture in stainless steel.

Q: What radius are the bends supplied in?

A: Eximo Speedlock 1 bends, up to 400mm ID, are of a presed construction and feature a 1.5 X diameter radius. Sizes of 400mm to 1000mm, and Eximo Speedlock 2 & Eximo Speedlock 3 are of a segmented construction with a 2 X diameter radius. Bends are also available in segmented sizes such as 60 degree, 45 degree, 30 degree, 15 degree and 7.5 degrees to get you around those difficult corners.

Q: What pressures can Eximo SpeedLock ducting withstand?

A: Our standard 1mm thick ducting product can withstand pressures up to 500-600 Pascal's depending on the diameter used. Heavier wall ducting such as our 2mm or 3mm range can withstand higher pressures. Stainless steel can also withstand higher pressures depending on the wall thickness and joining system selected.

Q: Are any accessories available?

Q: Can I install Eximo SpeedLock ducting myself?

A: Yes many of our customers carry out the installation themselves. Ask for our booklet "Handy Hints for Installation" which will walk you through the installation procedure.
