The ducting of hot fumes and gases takes special solutions. Why this is sometimes overlooked is a mystery to us. Standard ducting is rarely suitable for the hot stuff, so what we have for the job is HotFlex.

HotFlex is a ducting made to handle hot fumes and gases. It is a strong technology made from a lightweight, very flexible silicone ducting.

Its silicon coated glass fabric is made to handle the high temperatures while being easy to handle and extremely flexible and strong.

Applications are many, including the suction of hot fumes, gases or dusts right across all industries including mining and quarrying, agricultural, engineering, general industrial and certain non-food-grade applications in the food and beverage sector.

The product's temperature resistance ranges from -60°C to +300°C.

HotFlex has excellent temperature resistance, is flame retardant, embodies an abrasion resistant outer helix, and has excellent axial compressibility.

The product is a distinct silver grey colour and is supplied in 10 m rolls or is cut to length to order.

Across the product range it weighs anywhere between 400g per metre up to 3.1 kg per metre – a light product for easily handling in difficult installations.

Bend radii range from 30mm to 280mm, maximum work pressure bar 0.85 to 0.03, and maximum vacuum bar from 0.32 to 0.01.
