| Seals that handle tough conditions | 15-11-06 |

One thing we always stress to the industrial markets is to never underestimate the quality of seals.
Sometimes companies are forced to deal with some aggressive media yet they fail to appreciate that the seals used with their ducting may not be up to scratch.
This creates a weak link in the ducting process. This is why Eximo Duct End Seals have been developed to handle media in some of the most aggressive environments and across a wide temperature range.
Made to be use with the company’s range of Standard Lock Rings, Eximo Duct End seals gain their performance factor from a profiled EPDM rubber compound.
This technology minimises leakage into the ductwork by bringing each joint down to less than 0.25% leakage factor – basically as close as it can get to leakproof.
Available in sizes ranging from 80mm to 400mm in diameter, these EPDM rubber seals are hard wearing, and only one is required per connection.
The seal is placed over the head on Eximo duct prior to any assembly. Hardness is 80° shore and the product tolerates temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C.
To survive in the most severe applications working in such aggressive environments as oil, petrol and acids, these Eximo Duct End Seals are also available in nitrile rubber.
As with the basic range, these are also available in diameters ranging from 80mm to 400mm and hardness is 80° shore and temperature operating range from -15°C to 80°C.
