Printing industry waste? If you can’t duct it, then cut it 21-02-06

The printing and paper industries – or anywhere really that is handling paper or cardboard waste through a ducted system - will be very interested in our cutters.

Eximo Cutters are high-performance and are instituted as part of a complete ducting system for industries such as these where a common problem during paper or cardboard extraction is that sometimes the clippings can be quite large.

This in itself is a potentially damaging prospect as the materials handling systems assigned to collect and convey the waste through ducting can experience clogging from items this size, which in turn equates to costly unscheduled downtime.

Designed for cutting paper, cardboard, plastic and films up to 400µ in thickness, Eximo Cutters have blades that require sharpening only every 12 months.

Eximo Cutters have been designed to work efficiently with all Eximo ducting systems for print and paper industry waste (paper and cardboard), plastic and films, at the highest flow rates industry can put to it.

Made to top international standards, out cutters can withstand the most demanding conditions and achieve a long lifespan even in 24/7 operations.

Essentially, cutters are acting as important junction points in paper and cardboard, plastic and film waste handling systems.

But cutters of inferior quality - especially the ones that cannot handle high volumes – are prone to seizures, or they under perform and allow clippings of large size to slip through the net and clog at bend points in the ducting.

Eximo Cutters are high-performance with world class blades that, within an overall extraction system, function with almost zero possibility of being responsible for any unplanned downtime.

Therefore, the system will run smoothly, continuously and profit margins will not be eroded by unforeseen circumstances.

Eximo Cutters are available as two-blade cutters or three-blade cutters, with helical tungsten Carbide blades. It is normally recommended that a second set of blades be purchased to allow interchange during routine sharpening.
