| Distributor nominates our quality | 03-05-07 |

It had to happen. It’s one thing to be fielding enquiry after enquiry when you introduce a brilliant new product to the market, but it is another thing when this growing list of phone calls become an avalanche.
The interest in MobyDuct has been immediate. Our new relocatable ducting product has now seen the company appoint the first of an expected growing list of distributors to cover key industrial markets around Australia for this technology.
Whyte-Hall Australia, a national specialist in air movement, industrial power and lighting, lifting, concreting and mining peripherals, has taken on MobyDuct relocatable ducting for distribution across most heavy industries.
These include concrete construction, oil and gas, mining and quarrying, general engineering, food processing and other installations.
This is a major development for Eximo as it means we have top level representation in some of the highest turnover industries right across Australia.
Furthermore, our claims on the quality of MobyDuct are more than justified by Whyte-Hall, which sees the product as occupying its premium bracket.
Managing director of Whyte-Hall Australia, Mr Matthew McRae, says although the company has other products that facilitate a similar solution, MobyDuct comes in at the top end predominately due to the high-quality fibre of which it is constructed.
“We service a lot of markets and looked at our ducting technology to find there was room for a premium product to add to our range of industrial equipment," said Mr McRae.
“We made a thorough analysis and saw that MobyDuct has a high quality ‘scrim’ (material weave) to suit demanding applications where leakage is in no way an option for our clients.
“With an absence of holes from the stitching in MobyDuct, there is minimal air and pressure loss ensuring maximum flow rates are maintained throughout the ducting regardless of what industry is using it."
Eximo had absolutely no doubt that MobyDuct would be quickly adopted by the Australian industrial community, primarily because it can take hard knocks and not sustain any damage.
On top of this, industry suppliers have been crying out for a collapsible ducting that can be used over and over again and does not fray and in any way during use or relocation.
It is also suited to volatile environments, underground applications, 24-hour use - you name it MobyDuct can handle it.
We are pleased that a company as well-known as Whyte-Hall Australia has chosen our product for its premium applications.
This agreement takes us right into the heart of most heavy industries that rely on ducting for their processes.”
Eximo MobyDuct is hot-shoe welded rather than stitched. MobyDuct ventilation is anti-static and flame retardant; significantly reducing the hazardous potential of explosive atmospheres by eliminating sparking caused by static discharge.
Collapsible and reusable, the product is manufactured from reinforced PVC with an internal spring steel helix and a PVC wear strip. It is light -weight, and supplied with suspension stripping, hooks, and wires, and comes standard with air-ring coupling, not skirt coupling, for easy attachment and removal. MobyDuct is available in sizes from 600mm – 1200mm, and comes in standard white or other colours to order, and has a temperature resistance of -0°C to +50°C. The technology is collapsible and reusable – a design ensuring a long lifecycle for absorbing the force of potential collisions; while its heavy duty PVC resists potentially corrosive humidity and mineral factors. Mining and construction sectors of Europe and Africa are already favouring MobyDuct over rigid ducting systems due to the product’s superior safety features and ease of useability.
