Lightweight, UV resistant rubber ducting

It’s not only people that need to take care against the might of the sun. Our specialised thermoplastic rubber-coated polyester fabric ducting resists the sun's rays and other sources of exposure.

Sun Flex, the UV-resistant lightweight very flexible thermoplastic rubber ducting is suitable for the suction of chemical fumes gases - even under mechanical influence.

Despite being lightweight, the product is manufactured from a very strong material and is bolstered by the presence of the spring steel Helix throughout the conduit, adding flexibility to its high level of strength.

SunFlex exhibits a very good chemical resistance to fumes acids and solvents. It can be used outdoors are indoors as it is UV and ozone resistant. The product withstands severe flexing and it is also rot proofed to maximise lifespan.

It has a widely applicable operating temperature range from as low as -40°C up to
+150°C.

Supplied only in the colour black, the product has a wall thickness of 0.4mm and is available in 10m rolls or could be cut to length to order.

Depending on the diameter required, the SunFlex product weighs anywhere from 0.09 kg/m up to 2.25 kg/m. Bend radius ranges from 25mm to 500mm, maximum work pressure bar from 0.45 down to 0.03 and a maximum vacuum bar of 0.2 through to 0.01.
